Knicks aren’t that stupid to include RJ in any deal, he is off limits

I could see the Raps banking picks with Siakam and Freddy

I think Toronto tries to keep Freddy although I think Freddy wants a massive paycheck which he will likely get.

Siakam up in the air Masai doesn't like when people fade in the playoffs. Might get overnight traded.

lol, westbrick is not going anywhere but if he end up in the knicks that would be a great fit because both accept mediocrity.

Not only should the raptors trade Siakam but also fire Nurse.

I mean it worked for them last time fired coach of the year and then won the next year.

Aldridge for Love makes no sense for either team, just pointless swapping.

Beal to the Nuggets is prolly my favorite trade because I would love to see Beal get out of Washington and it's a great trade for both teams, makes Denver title contenders without a doubt.

I voted Griffin getting out of Detroit though, he has no business being on that team and I hate the idea of his career fading away in mediocrity, get this man somewhere he can compete while he's still in his early 30s.

That is the most Knicks thing I've ever seen though, a no future trade and bailing out another franchise at the same time lmao

Good vote Blake is a number 2 cannot fit the shoes that Detroit needs for the paycheque I think

In order of likeliness I think the Bucks go after

Oladipo
CP3
Rose

They’re desperate for a guard who can facilitate the offense. Rose is honestly the best option if we value preserving depth and flexibility to make another move before the deadline

IMagine if Rose has a healthy year holy fuck that would be sickk

Letting the contacts expire is a possibility too.
But if the Spurs want to make one more run at it with Pop. The better option between Love & Aldridge next to DD is Love. How far Love & DD can get them IS a question.
Who knows how the Spurs think. They might also believe turning two expiring contracts into assets this year will be harder than doing one at a time.
Doubtful anyone goes to San Antonio in free agency. Especially after Pop leaves. I don't think that's a legit play. Spurs have to build through the draft or trades.

I'm just not on the whole Pop is a ticking clock train, even if he leaves in a couple years it's not like the Spurs are the Knicks or Hornets, there's plenty of reason to believe the Spurs will rebuild faster than most franchises. I just see the Love contract as a further extension of prolonging mediocrity, better to leave room for opportunity in FA and leave all the minutes to the younger talent.

I think the Knicks offering FVV the max is more likely than them throwing assets at Westbrook. Timeline doesn’t sync up with RJ to go for Westbrook

If the Knicks/someone else makes an offer for FVV that the Raptors are hesitant to match, then they’ll get nothing for him

Siakam on the other hand could fetch a very nice haul from someone like Boston or Denver for example

Siakam contract isn't that bad either considering its only a 'small' 140mil max

Then they could keep FVV and give him the money he wants maybe deal for a Center we will need one next year.

It took DD 4 years of fucking up before he got sent packing so we will see if Masai tries to pull the trigger.

---

I want Westbrook on the Knicks it makes so much sense for the franchise.

and Westbrook as the Face of New York would be commendable you know. He could run the town all by himself

If the choice is between spending cap and giving up no assets for FVV or giving up assets and spending more cap on Westbrook, well I think the better choice is obvious

Knicks going after FVV would be a way better decision no doubt. Not sure what kind of contract FVV is eligible to get but this is a case where the Knicks should absolutely overpay if that's what it takes to get him. Westbrook is overpaid and aging, it makes no sense to add him to a rebuilding team with minimal assets as it is, grab a quality player and and put some pieces together of a capable roster one step at a time.

Blake likes that
I like that
You like that
Pistons like that bc they’d rather be a perennial fringe playoff team than be any good
