Doesn't need to be a big market team, just a team that makes better decisions so we can see him in the finals for once.

That's a joke because the Lakers have made many bad decisions. Making one good decision to trade lesser value for AD doesn't negate all of the bad decisions made by their FO.

I don't remember bringing the Lakers into this conversation but if you wanna go this direction, yeah the Lakers made bad decisions and Magic and Kupchak are gone because of it. Now they turned it around and made better decisions and oh shit look at that, Champions. Bucks on the other hand are still in the bad decision making part in their history, there's a reason there's all these rumors around Giannis. The biggest joke here is the Bucks wasting some prime Giannis years, this offseason is their last chance to turn it around otherwise Giannis should leave and join a better run team.

what are the bad decisions the Bucks have made? do you consider drafting Jabari a bad decision? do you consider trading Brogdon a bad decision? do you consider resigning Middleton a bad decision?

my guess is you have an unusual bias against Milwaukee and would say that all of the above were bad decisions.

Jabari got hurt, shit happens. Trading Brogdon was result of the Bledsoe extension which is looking like a bad decision given he never performs in playoffs and cost the team Brogdon. Traded Brogdon for picks but the Bucks are in a win now scenario so that doesn't really help the team now, so they just lost him without replacing the productivity. Resigning Middleton wasn't necessarily a bad decision but they overpaid, can't blame them for it though, they had no leverage and needed to bring him back. An under the radar fuck up was waiving Christian Wood who was playing like an absolute stud for the Pistons before the season shut down, they could have used a cheap talent like that this year. When looking at the rosters from last year to this year, holy shit what a downgrade.

does swapping Brogdon for Bledsoe win the Bucks a title this year? probably not, so it remains to be seen what value the Bucks can get from Bledsoe. he's worth more to a team that values regular season - with older stars or players that need to be load managed during the regular season.

Brogdon missed 9/63 games and would have missed more time if not for the shutdown. unfortunately he is a high risk for re-injury given that the original injury was a plantar fascia tear

the repetitive strain on Brogdon's foot, obviously being an NBA player, makes it quite reasonable that the microtears and constant strain would cause chronic degeneration of the fascia

A direct swap? Nah they don't win this year, but you're talking about a 27 year old Brogdon going into his prime vs Bledsoe who is gonna be 31 and already past his prime, if you want Giannis to believe in a future for the team it was absolutely the wrong choice. Regarding Bledsoe's value, you said "he's worth more to a team that values regular season" which sounds like the Bucks to me so who is gonna value Bledsoe higher than the Bucks lmao

normally home court does matter and the Bucks had the best home court record in the league with back to back number one seeds

the Heat had a 15-22 road record, while the Bucks had a 30-5 home record. what is the likelihood they go up 2-0 in Milwaukee, what is the likelihood the officials end a tie game with free throws at 0.0 in Milwaukee?

historically only one playoff game in the last 30 years ended in free throws at 0.0
