You're right. I shouldn't get my hopes up. It's 2020 after all. Can you imagine four more years of Donald Trump? That scares me a lot!

eh, i could care less. In fact im actually more scared of 4+ years of biden.
Dude cant remember shit and he spouts off random dumb facts that dont even make sense. Like how his tax credit will get 720 million women back into the workforce.
Not even trump would be dumb enough to say shit that lmao. And lets not even get started about his weird hair smelling, little girl touching habits.

They had a lot of superstars and MVPs galore like Kobe Bryant, Shaq, Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan, LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash to name a few. Even Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady gave me some memorable pleasure from 2004 to 2009. All of those players were must-watch TV! Anytime I saw an NBA commercial featuring a nationally televised game I knew I'd watch when those exciting players were involved.

Not to say there's a lack of superstars in today's NBA. A lot of young phenoms I must watch like Luka Doncic, Zion Williamson, Trae Young and Ja Morant. But none of these guys are playing in the conference finals or NBA Finals. If they were I'd certainly be watching every game. I think the casual NBA fan will watch the games once this political bullshit comes to an end. Once Donald Trump is out of office. The fact he has greatly burned a bridge with the NBA players is annoying and doesn't help their ratings. Once Joe Biden is in office things will likely improve ratings wise. When Obama was in office the NBA was more popular that's for sure.

I’d argue the landscape of the NBA is the strongest it’s ever been with young potential superstars. Luka, Trae, Ja, Tatum, Simmons, Zion, Booker, Mitchell

Trump was talking about soldiers defending airports in the late 1700s and how WW2 was happening in 1927

Who do you think is an under the radar potential breakout player on the Pistons?

idk, we really dont have alot of talent coming up
I'd say most likely Doumbouya, but i wouldnt call him under the radar. Maybe jordan bone, i liked him when he was at Tennessee.

As someone who absolutely does not want 4 more years of Trump, I believe he could fleece another election

I know Joe Biden is terribly old and forgets a lot of things, and he also slurs his words half the time. But even then it comes down to Kamala Harris versus Mike Pence. Who do you trust more? Oh well. We'll see what happens. I think the NBA ratings will be fine next season especially if they can find some normalcy again. Teams playing every game inside their own home arenas with a reduced crowd would still be a huge win for the league. By then I hope there's a 50% seating capacity. If a reliable COVID-19 vaccine came out that could rush things back to normal. Still a lot of unknowns right now.

He has his moments of dumb fuckery, no doubt. but vowing to get twice as many women as there are people in the entire US is pretty bad lmao.
Or his story about getting into a street fight with Cornpop (an alleged african american man) where Biden used a chain as a weapon.
Or when he called the little black kids at the pool 'roaches'
Or that he loved little kids playing with leg hair and hopping on his lap.
Imagine if trump told the same story people would have his head calling him a racist child molester.

I apologize for having this incredibly selfish idea, but another thing that would improve the NBA ratings. If Giannis found a way to leave Milwaukee to form the next super team. I know you won't like that idea but he truly is a special and elite talent with all of his prime years ahead of him. Imagine if he went to a bigger market and had the entire NBA world under his feet like LeBron James did when he took his talents to South Beach back in the summer of 2010? We all drooled over LeBron back then. We'd be doing the same with Giannis Antetokounmpo! Maybe he can go win a few championships elsewhere and then return to the Bucks later in his career.

It's a shame too, these playoffs have been amazing.

A big reason ratings are down is because of who is left in the playoffs.

The most anticipated series for the playoffs was suppose to be Lakers/Clippers followed by the Bucks playing the winner. In my opinion and probably lots of other people none of the teams left can give the Lakers a legit challenge in a series and that doesn't make for good entertainment. The Lakers could be down 2-0 with any of the remaining teams and they would still be favorites to win the series.
