KD and Nash have a personal relationship

When Nash was a member of the GSW staff as a consultant he actually quietly won a ring aswell

KD loved the insight and wisdom of Nash so he will likely be able to steer Irving in the right direction to respect that as well

This isn't going to be another Brad Stevens blatantly disrespecting the system
