Chinese media has just as much propaganda too, and it is spun just as how you say it.
Don't think for a second that whatever news source you are getting in China isn't also Bias, especially if for the mainland of China.
Are you in HK or Mainland?
You know Mainland China has an over 99% conviction rate? Did you know that the punishment for crimes in Mainland China is profoundly different than serving time in an HK jailcell? I.e hands removed, put to death, zero human rights. etc.
I would be fucking afraid if Mainland China tried to change the rules on me too. Introducing an extradition bill to allow Mainland China to forcefully remove people they deem as 'criminals' to their Mainland where everyone and their mother knows Human rights will be violated in prison.
HK protestors are violent because we all fucking know What Mainland China wants. Mainland China is communist bullshit regime that wants the whole world to burn. I wouldn't want to be a part of that either.
There have been SEVERAL other states that separated from Mainland China rule because it is bullshit and no one fucking likes it other than the brainwashed mainland citizens.
There is a reason Taiwan defected and Singapore defected etc etc. Is because they do not want to live in Communist bullshit where I do not have the freedom to travel the world, or the freedom to an unblocked internet.
You know mainland China censores any sort of free speech right?
You really think it is all western propaganda? Well let me tell you something budzo, It is the millions of HK people that have never ever ever set foot in the west, let alone watch our media, that are trying to defend their rights and freedoms that Mainland wants to begin to take away.. They are out there everyday. And I have contacts with Family in HK so I am not getting all my info from media. bee tee dubs.
I understand your point of view. I agree. Although my post only mentions Western Bias of new sources, Chinese news sources are also biased. I think that's inevitable.
I read a vast amount of news and information sources. Also, although I have clearly taken a pro-China stance, that's not because of any news bias but what is right from a moral standpoint.
1. HK is part of China.
2. Our media and people in fact have no right or reason to comment or interfere about what happens in China (China news sources never interfere with USA issues such as police brutality or school shootings)
3. From an unbiased point of view, the demonstrators are in the wrong. At this point they have shown violence towards innocent civilians/police offers and damaged the entire city they are apart of.
They are not fighting for your glamorized version of 'democracy' but in fact just hooligans looking for some random payout. They jump on the 'democracy' bandwagon' and Western media sources eat it up.
