That's called being cocky. Not prideful. Prideful would want to compete and always show our superiority. Or hopefully do so.

We invented the sport, we have been the best at it forever, if we sent LeBron Melo & KD with whoever every year we wouldn't lose.. Kinda agree on us not having to send the best of the best...

We don't have to. But it shows cockyness not pride when we send our 2nd string talent.
