For that bet the game wouldnt hve gone to overtime

Thunder would have won 99-94 ......

I have been on the other side of this and a med told me the same thing and i lost my fg

Unless OT is stated in the bet

which med told you that? I can tell you for sure that Thunder +5.5 lost that day, I had money on them. Yes they were up a bazillion, and they somehow lost plus couldn't cover the spread, but any spread or s/u bet is final score. Unless stated otherwise in the bet "No OT bet"

tldr etc, spread or s/u = final score, and that's final. Sorry for your loss

How does this make any sense to anyone
I took the thunder +5 in regulation. They toed plus my +5. By the end of regulation it was 99-94 thunder won

Thats like throwing out my +5 points in regulation and it just being a s/u bet. Then me betting on thunder +5 in overtime

If i wanted to bet on thunder +5 in ot then i would have made another thread and bet on overtime

The game ovbiously continues into overtime for a s/u bet i get that. The overtime should count for that. Which i lost s/u

How does anyone figure the thunder didnt win in regulation +5

So if the thunder woul have lost by 5 points in regulation. I would have pushed and went even
But the thunder came closer. Within the 5 points but i lost even after adding my +5. Something is ass backwards ere
Someone needs to make this clear in bettin forums

The Thunder did cover +5 in regulation, but standard bets are not "regulation" in basketball, they are final score. Basketball is different from other sports. Soccer or hockey maybe standard bet is regulation unless otherwise specified, I don't know I don't bet in those sports much, but I promise you that in basketball standard bet is just the final score, not the end of regulation.

Sure the ot counts for my s/u bet. I get that. The game wasnt over
But y would u throw out my +5 points just because of a tie?
That makes no sense

I hope this is posted in a betting thread somewhere as an example for less confusion in the future
Or if its already stated somewhere please send me the link and i will apologize for this ranting and confusion.
It just makes no sense me to y the +5 wouldnt be added to the score at regulation

Let me explain this nice and slow. When you make a bet on a team it means the FINAL SCORE not the end of regulation if your betting for fg or cash its all the same. The spread doesnt take effect until the game is OVER so at the end of regulation it was 94-94 but since it goes into overtime your spread is useless until the game has come to a conclusion. That's when you apply the spread and calculate your earnings until then its heads up. Only the FINAL score counts +/- your spread.

Just a little backwards if u ask me
The final score at the end of regulation should count ur cover
Meaning the final score was 94-94 at regulation plus my thunder +5. So the FINAL score at regulation should have been 99-94
But i dunno. Doesnt make sense to me thats all
Wish the thunder wouldnt have tied the game i guess. Too bad they made that last basket
And lost by 2 pts. 92-94 plus my +5 97-94 as the final score at the end of regulation

I would just think that and the end of regulation. The cover should be added. Because thts basically the end of the game betting wise
I mean people make new threads for overtime bets

Anyone have the link to the rules?
Just incase they arent completely clear we can change them to state (including overtime)
