Most Celtics fans (myself included) wanted him traded after that game 7 loss to Heat when JT got injured and we finally got to see JB be the guy, but he completely shit the bed with like 10 turnovers and shooting 25% from the field

The +/- and counting stats will always go up when a star is surrounded by teammates that can put up star numbers themselves on any given night. Imagine what kind of stats Jokic would be capable of with Brown, White, KP, and Holiday.

When Tatum is off the floor, are other starters also coming out with him? This was the case when Jokic had gaudy PER stats, it was because the coach always pulled the starters alongside Jokic. I don’t know the specifics about the Celtics lineups, but I’d analyze who is coming out of the game whenever Tatum is going to the bench to understand why there is such a difference in offensive rating when he is on/off

We can all agree Tatum would be "good" anywhere, but he'd just be an inefficient all-star wing on a bad team. Instead he's on a team where he can shoot 30% in the finals and still win it all because his teammates bail him out rofl.

No, e.g Tatum stays in entire 1st quarter when the other starters come out. He plays a lot with the second unit. Him and JB will start and finish games together but will often play at opposing times throughout the rest of the game.
