I mean PG isn't peak like MVP form like he was. Hes not washed though. His defense is still great (WAY better than Tobias) it's just not quite where it was as he has slowed a bit athletically no doubt. His ability to take guys off the dribble isn't what it once was either. He's still an All-Star, and a tremendous shooter (best spot up 3pt shooter in the league last season), and is still a beast but the #3 role will fit him perfectly now. He will get plenty of open looks next to Embiid and Maxey.
Simply replace Tobias with PG and you're looking at a massive upgrade. Give us around 20 PPG on good efficiency with good defense and stay healthy and we're set. He's a much more reliable #3 option, even at this stage of his career, than Tobias.

Lol he legit averaged 33/11/6 in the playoffs this past season. Led the league in postseason PPG and #1 in postseason EPM (as he was #1 in both during the regular season too.) While playing on a bum ACL and half a face too lol.
Embiid has been ridiculously impactful in the postseason for the majority of his career. They legit have been nothing without him.
Career PLAYOFF On/Off Net Ratings:
Embiid: On +7.47 | Off -8.21
Jokic: On +1.27 | Off -0.83
Giannis: On +4.53 | Off -2.93
Enough said. These numbers are just....absurd.
