HoF is literally based off of individual accomplishments though lol. Plenty of guys who never won a ring in there.

Embiid is well ahead of Tatum in the HoF convo right now. He had an MVP and 2 scoring titles as a center. He's top 3 all-time in NBA history in career PPG.

Winning a ring is nice, and certainly boosts the resume , but if you don't add a Finals MVP it's not doing as much for ya. Robert Horry has 7 titles and he's not sniffing the HoF.

Reggie Miller has no FMVP or any mvp scoring titles he’s HOF

Tatum's got game. He is very good. A fringe concensus top 10 player and he is still very young. His outlook for HoF is looking good if he continues to improve and he can get some more accolades.

Embiid already has the accolades. He is a concensus top 5 player and in contention for best player when healthy. If he can keep his regular season level of play while playing the minimum games for qualifying for accolades he will be a HoF. I'm not sure he will have the longevity, but his resume is looking good so far. Embiid might just get in because he was from Cameroon (iirc) and was good.
