I really don’t buy it that Nurse saw Embiid as a cut above. If Embiid is up for a 2nd MVP hypothetically, he would be the only 2 time candidate to never make a conference finals and it certainly hasn’t been due to a deficit in talent. Embiid has had some really good running mates in Philly
