Ben Simmons at his peak should have hands down won DPOY.

That man was 6'10" 240 lbs putting the clamps on opposing PG's and SG's full time and also defending PF's and C's at a high level with no problem. Remember when he started at center against the Jazz and absolutely abused Rudy Gobert? 😭

Honestly, the league hasn't had a defender with that size/strength/athleticism versatility as a defender. Giannis is a freak but he's not moving like Simmons is on the perimeter defending smaller/quicker guards.

At his best, there wasn't a better defender in todays game than Simmons. He can legitimately defend 1-5 with no problem. Ask Jayson Tatum how it feels to always get clamped by Benjamin Simmons rofl.

If Curry and Klay n green win their 5th championship before Lebron does then that’s a huge boost to Curry legacy and huge for warriors dynasty. Lebrons accomplishment will be lessened n overshadowed.



I just hope Simmons locked in and have big impact on his future teams. Great assists and great defense are still in demand.
