Proint is completely up to date on all the nuance of the soft cap era of Basketball.
How much is GSW paying in luxury tax next year? 700 mi? give or take

Warriors paying Wiggins max, Curry super max, Klay max, green almost max, Poole almost max

This will be the last year of that. Klay and Dray will have to take paycuts or they will be gone. Klay mentioned in his comeback player of the year speech how he was surprised he got the max despite being injured. Not many people get paid 40 million to rehab. Time for him to give back. Especially after his performance in these playoffs. Draymond best fit is here and he will likely get the most here. Except maybe Portland who are desperate to keep Dame and Dame likes Draymond. His brand will grow more if he's a lifer with the Warriors alongside Curry and Klay though. They should line up their contracts with Curry's. So they can all take even more paycuts and/or retire together.
We were fortunate enough that when the league tried to help LeBron create a dynasty they rose the cap too much too quick and the Warriors and KD were like aight then. As a result of that + KD doing sign and trade we got an extra large salary spot. Wiggins isn't max. Only Curry and Klay are. Well I guess Poole will be too now next year but HE GONE.
People give the Warriors shit for this stuff but there at least 10 owners richer than him, most of whomst refuse to go into the tax to win. The Warriors were a joke for decades and now are the one of the most valuable franchises and third in total titles. Built through the draft and took advantage of the league fucking up. Not my problem.
