They should honestly offer another team one of Phoenix’s firsts and an expiring contract like Royce O’Neal or patty mills to take on Ben Simmons’ contract at the deadline next year.

They have no hope of being good as long as he’s on their books. That’s one of the first steps they’re going to have to take to try to turn the ship around.

3 out of their 5 highest paid guys are not producing at the value of their contract, which makes it just a really tough salary situation to be in.

That's a good strategy but they have no picks next year so they should do that after next season. Then Benjamin Simmons becomes an expiring contract and an expiring 40 million dollar contract could be very lucrative for a team with its sights on signing a big name.
