I think the lakers offered both 1sts

One thing I heard was the Nets wanted their young guys (Reaves & Christie) in addition to Westbrook, both 1sts, and multiple pick swaps.

Other thing I heard was Tsai was never going to deal Kyrie to LA bc it was his preferred destination

i heard LA was too close to the edge of the map for Kyrie

Regarding the trade though, Tsai had no intention of trading Kyrie to LA. He also rejected the Suns offer of CP3, Jae Crowder and unspecified picks, per bleacher report. Cuban made a very bad decision with this one IMO.

Has more to do w/ the Nets owner being spiteful and not wanting to send Kyrie to his preferred destination being LA.

according to Kyrie whenever he goes up in the plane it actually just flies around in a circle waiting for the crews to set up the new fake city for him to land in

if the Nets goal is to compete now, Dallas' offer is better. most GM's don't last long enough in the NBA for 2027 and 2029 picks to materialize btw
