Lakers will get Jordan and we will get picks for a few years, exactly what a rebuilding team needs

Whats up with detroit fans accepting mediocrity here

The picks restock a draft cupboard that was bare after Weaver dealt four second-rounders, along with Luke Kennard, during the 2020 NBA draft to acquire Saddiq Bey with the 19th pick. The Pistons have traded their own second-round picks through 2026, and owe a heavily protected first-round pick to Oklahoma City.

Before the deal, Detroit had 16 guaranteed contracts and needed to clear one roster spot with training camp less than a month away. After a buyout of Jordan, they'll have one opening, with 14 players on the roster

Opens roster spots and gets draft talent for next few years in which we have none from previous trades. Hot mess.. Getting a core built for them to walk in free agency is what its sadly gonna be. Hopefully they gel and stick together

It’s hard to see where you said you liked the trade sifting through all the word vomit. Your last paragraph even says hot mess after you detailed what happened lol

the hot mess is that we wont be able to hold these young players under contract to gather the next future waves of picks coming in. No one wants to play for detroit :((

Im happy they have been drafting decent

So glad they were able to restock their empty draft capital cupboard with 4 of the worst picks in the draft. Future is looking bright . I wonder if any of those gems will score an NBA basket.

You are honestly the dumbest person in this forum and its not even close.

You think the pistons restocked their draft picks with picks that are gonna be 55-60.
