Fireworks are fine, but they shouldn't go past midnight. You've got people who have to work early, people with kids, people with pets, people with PTSD, etc.

I have (maybe had?) one neighbor who would go all-out on the fireworks every year, firing them off way too late. This is the first year it hasn't been too bad.
