Who would want him? I don’t see why any team would.

Vegas odds on Ben Simmons next team if traded:

Portland Trail Blazers +200
Washington Wizards +300

Utah Jazz +500
Oklahoma City Thunder +550
Golden State Warriors +600
Los Angeles Lakers +650
Cleveland Cavaliers +700
Houston Rockets +1000

A Ben Simmons-for-CJ McCollum swap is reportedly considered "reasonable" around the NBA as the Philadelphia 76ers and Portland Trail Blazers likely consider moving their respective guards this summer.

Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer reported Monday that executives around the league consider the deal a logical trade.

The Sixers and Blazers are natural dance partners because they're in a similar situation, needing seismic change to improve their postseason outlooks.

Oh how far we've fallen with the Ben Simmons talks. A 24 year old 3x All-Star, 1x All-NBA, 2x All-Defensive 1st team selection four years into his NBA career. For a 29 year old 8 year vet who has never been an All-Star or All-NBA selection, and is a weaker defender. McCollum would be a good fit though but fuck talk about biting the bullet.

Wouldn't be surprised one bit to see Simmons start the season in Philly next year so the Sixers can move him when his value is higher (i.e. not coming off a miserable second round playoff series).

Agreed. People act like what was exposed in the playoffs is something new with Simmons. He’s not a shoot first (or at all) player and his strength is running an offense and playing elite defense. He has to play next to a true stretch 5 that’s never inside the paint. Someone like Myles Turner and Sabonis would be a decent front court to play alongside Simmons, or Porzingis and Finney Smith? Vuc and Markaneen? Just spitballin
