I mean, he was elite when we considered him as such. During the Warriors runs he was a very effective player, and a major contributor to their success. You could say he was in the perfect situation and that he wouldn’t have been nearly as good on another team and you may be right, but the fact is that he was a very good player during that 5 year stretch.

He’s the best player to ever lace em up.

He was very good in his role, and was a perfect complementary player next to Steph and Klay.

I mean he averaged 14/10/7 on 49/39/70 at one point, and was 2nd team All-NBA. Then a season later he won DPOY. So he was definitely a really really good player.

He's still good at what he does, which is certainly not scoring rofl. Still a good passer though, plays that point forward role well. He had 19 assists a couple games ago
