Absolutely no reason to, it's a vague likeness of one the greatest ambassadors of the sport, dribbling a ball, get over it. It won't happen, as the NBA have categorically stated numerous times.

If you make this an issue of race, you're by definition, a racist. Either way, the logo will still be white because of the red, white and blue colour configuration.

If it ever did get changed, it would just be a picture of a ball with NBA written on the badge, akin to the NFL logo. Anything else would just spark outrage in this snowflake era.
