Looking at their roster they have easily one of the bottom 5 teams in the NBA but their record doesn’t reflect that

Is Pop hurting their rebuild by overachieving with this shitty roster or is it better to fight tooth and nail for every win?

Not sure how you came to the conclusion that their roster is bottom 5 in the league... they have plenty of talented players

LMA has fallen off of a cliff and their 2nd best player White has missed the majority of their games

I mean a lot of the teams behind them in the West easily have a better 1/2 if you want to start there

Imagine what Pop could do with Ball, Ingram, Zion, JJ...

Good supporting pieces like Bledsoe and Adams too

You’re not wrong there, not sure what the Pelicans problem is tbh.

Spurs need some legit big men, there guards are pretty solid imo

Which is pretty underwhelming

Seeds 9-12 all have better top end talent

Morant/JJJ >
Luka/Porzingis >
Fox/Buddy >
Zion/Ingram >

This year is weird for the Spurs, pretty much just waiting for Aldridge, Gay and DeRozan to finish out their contracts

You under estimate the team. Derozen is better than JJJ, Fox, Zion, Buddy... You forget DeRozen was a 5 time allstar and lead his team to the playoffs for 4 seasons....

and its Coached by Pop thats +10 wins a season minimum regardless of the players. partly because Spurs always have the least fouls called against them. always.

Spurs also have perennial almostr 6th man of the year in Rudy gay who always produces and their bench is stronk overall.

Poetl is underrated as a player
