Lebron made a video statement about the leagues decision to have an Allstar game

Personally I am with Lebron on this one. I wish he said 'My teammates and players I know have no energy" rather than "I have no energy" because the haters will inevitably point to that to build the selfish Lebron argument..

There are a lot of other considerations of course. Players get bonuses for being allstars, it is a big piece of the resume so some players I believe want to be allstars for their career and they don't care about the situation.

I see a lot of players voicing displeasure though so it is up in the air still

the way some of these teams are built is like watching a all-star game every time they play, some more than others ofc.

honestly the all star game is terrible. Best part of it is the dunk contest. And since no huge names ever do it anymore its not that fun.

The game itself Sucks. they just throw it down court n dunk no def.

Honestly who wants to watch games like that, scores are obv lil off but close enuff

I don’t care about the all star game this year or any other year. It’s honestly never fun to watch. I wouldn’t mind giving players a week off ever year instead.

Shouldn’t be an allstar game tbh.

Lebrons a hypocrite though, same dude that said he would pick n choose games to rest but hasn’t because he’s too busy chasing records.
