Hedge fund managers shorted more stocks than existed for GameStop and got wrecked by redditors exploiting that and pumping the GameStop stock price from $12 two weeks ago to over $200 a share today

Well GameStop is doing shitty, so hedge fund managers essentially gambled that the stock would go down. Hedge fund managers got too greedy on this gamble, and it caused them to get burned by a bunch of Reddit nerds who researched this and countered their strategy

Bought 100 as a meme last year to mess with my dad.

Sold some at various points during this run.
Ima let the rest play out.

I sold my call options for 2k profit, if i held 1 more month i would have made 25k.

If i exercised it on jan 15 it would have been 203k lmao.
