Knicks aren’t that stupid to include RJ in any deal, he is off limits

I could see the Raps banking picks with Siakam and Freddy

I hope Silver does try to weasel CP3 to the Lakers somehow and it blows up in their face like the Nash and Malone Lakers teams

In order of likeliness I think the Bucks go after

Oladipo
CP3
Rose

They’re desperate for a guard who can facilitate the offense. Rose is honestly the best option if we value preserving depth and flexibility to make another move before the deadline

lol, westbrick is not going anywhere but if he end up in the knicks that would be a great fit because both accept mediocrity.

Not only should the raptors trade Siakam but also fire Nurse.

Aldridge for Love makes no sense for either team, just pointless swapping.

Beal to the Nuggets is prolly my favorite trade because I would love to see Beal get out of Washington and it's a great trade for both teams, makes Denver title contenders without a doubt.

I voted Griffin getting out of Detroit though, he has no business being on that team and I hate the idea of his career fading away in mediocrity, get this man somewhere he can compete while he's still in his early 30s.

That is the most Knicks thing I've ever seen though, a no future trade and bailing out another franchise at the same time lmao

While it might be pointless in terms of championship contention. It does make sense for the Spurs to deal Aldridge.
DD and Aldridge want to occupy the same spot on the court. They don't complement one another.
Love OTOH is a legit volume 3 point shooter. This year he was at 7 per and shot 38%.
Aldridge shot 3 per at 38% which was his best volume and % of his career.

Love does make the Spurs better. Contention better? unlikely. But if they want one more run under Pop. Love > Aldridge in terms of fit for that offense with DD.
Aldridge on the downside of his career and an expiring might be enough for the Cavs to consider this trade.
Then look to deal Aldridge to a contender for picks.

Love may fit better next to DeRozan but do the Spurs have intentions of signing him after next eason? I'm not sure I would want the extra 2 years of Love if I'm the Spurs. If they don't want DeRozan for the future I would rather just let the contracts expire and open up cap space for potential free agents.

Letting the contacts expire is a possibility too.
But if the Spurs want to make one more run at it with Pop. The better option between Love & Aldridge next to DD is Love. How far Love & DD can get them IS a question.
Who knows how the Spurs think. They might also believe turning two expiring contracts into assets this year will be harder than doing one at a time.
Doubtful anyone goes to San Antonio in free agency. Especially after Pop leaves. I don't think that's a legit play. Spurs have to build through the draft or trades.
