I've stayed quiet for year(s) but growing tired of the shit SheriffCool gets as leader of the list and betting community. I've been friends with all the previous leaders for pushing 6-7 years now not as long as some but longer than most. I want to break things down very clear.

EVERY previous list-runner had:
unclear rules on how to get to trusted, it was basically just assumed everything was OK back in the day people got on trusted in like 6 months or 1 year
unclear situations what at the rules etc before we just had one rule "if both cd = bet" that was it
TOP-HEAVY POWER it was all decided by list-runner or a very few select people


Under Sheriff we have:
a set % of votes democratically elected for users to reach status
welch rules are firm and strict but subject to interpretation BY THE COMMUNITY ie: Sheriff looks out and does his best but if the majority of people disagree with him he REVERSES HIS DECISION unlike other leaders

Basically Sheriff is the first list-runner to give the power to the entire community instead of it being a popularity contest as to who is friends with who... this has angered some sketchy trolls along the way but anyone with half a brain or more can realize what he's doing is the best for the betting community.


Other list runners cling to power until everyone demands they quit or they get fed up and tired with all the bullshit and just say "I can't handle this anymore". I guarantee Sheriff would step down if he was VOTED DOWN but I STRONGLY RECOMMEND we keep him. He's by far the best list-runner we've ever had.

I've been friends with ALL the previous list runners since my time, but nothing was as clear cut as it is now.



etc.... it's clear and fair like it NEVER was in the past.












ONLY SHERIFF LETS US THE BETTORS DECIDE WHAT IS RIGHT AND WRONG AND WHO RUNS THE LIST AND THE BETTING FORUMS = PURE DEMOCRACY

___% for trusted


BTW he has no idea I'm posting this thread may not like it I don't know, but I'm tired of the BS he gets. He works hard and is 100% fair, democratic, and legit.













TL;DR: IF YOU THINK LIST IS CORRUPT NOW, YOU ARE NEW/STUPID BECAUSE IT'S WAY LESS CORRUPT THAN IT HAS EVERY BEEN BEFORE

This is not the thread/post to talk about one's individual status. You are trusted in my book (cuz I've know you for years), but Sheriff's policy is 90% (if i recall correctly) votes of current trusteds. It's completely transparent, fair, and clear, like it's never been before.

I'm thinking the same, although I've never paid enough attention to actually compare all of them. Sheriff does it the right way and I like the current system.

I blame Prone, now there's a vendetta against people under 20.

I completely agree though, there's less corruption then there ever has been. And hell there have been some huge scandals in the sports coliseum.
