In his inaugural season Gradey Dick was asked to step up and go right into the NBA after various injuries plagued the Toronto Raptors. Gradey averaged 9.5 ppg after playing in 60 and starting 17 games. His promise was his willingness to shoot the 3 ball where he would make 4 averages per game and had a intriguing .370 shooting average. He came into the league wanting to play and he got the opportunity to learn the ropes in that important first season. Everyone watching him knew his shot would come together just like it did in College.
This Season Gradey has comepletely come out of his shell. He demands the ball and not only isn't afraid to shoot but will go on streaks that woo the crowd right up. In the 2024-25 season so far he is averaging 19ppg on .420 shooting. This kid has taken over games. He is a spark Toronto needs and he is fun to watch.
