Pop is pretty awful these days. He's out of touch. Not a great coach for the modern era of hoops.

After his guys retired and Kawhi left, he inherited garbage teams.

Getting great players is hard and luck is significant.

He hasn't developed anyone and his coaching style is so outdated. Questionable coaching decisions in recent years.

Wemby fell into his lap but even so, you'd have to imagine there are a lot of coaches who can develop him better in todays modern game than old man Pop.

The guy hasn't done shit in quite a while and nothing has really changed lol. Living off past accomplishments really.
