CBA language for Withholding Services:

Withholding services: A player who withholds playing services called for by a Player Contract for more than thirty (30) days after the start of the last Season covered by his Player Contract shall be deemed not to have “complet[ed] his Player Contract by rendering the playing services called for thereunder.” Accordingly, such a player shall not be a Veteran Free Agent and shall not be entitled to negotiate or sign a Player Contract with any other professional basketball team unless and until the Team for which the player last played expressly agreed otherwise.

Harden took a "pay cut" to return last year, did he not? I'm assuming Morey promised him something in return and went back on his word.

Harden is a drama queen but this is a bad look on Morey and Philly for sure. 76ers going nowhere anytime soon! Embiid will be outta there in due time as well

Part of me thinks Harden was just pandering to China, after the backlash in the past when Morey spoke out publicly in support of Hong Kong's battle for democracy.

I'm sure Harden's PR team freaked out when he said this lol. It doesn't help him get traded any sooner really.

Harden is a clown but we all know morey promised him more in his next contract if he took a paycut last year. Which he did.



Zero chance Embiid sticks around.

Morey is going to get canned and then Embiid will demand a trade. Rev up that process. It's tanking time in Philly.

Who knows what was promised. This is a trend for Harden though.
