Aaron Nola was cruising yesterday against the Yankees, striking out 10 of the first 16 batters he faced, and finishing the game with 12 strikeouts in 6 innings. Keep in mind it's the second of a double header, and each game is only 7 innings.

Of course in classic Phillies fashion, Girardi decides to pull Nola after 6 innings at just 88 pitches to put in Tommy Hunter who proceeds to blow the game and give up the lead and the Phillies lose as a result.

Yanks would do that agnst even a good bullpen. They r the best offensive team in the league

Nola was cooking the Yanks offense, they didn't have an answer and he was only 88 pitches in they should have just left him in the damn game to close it out. It was only a 7 inning game...

game was tied 1-1 and doesn't look like the offense can do shit. 2nd start of season after the marlins fuked up an already fuked up season. could see why he took him out.

klentak needs to go. whole pitching staff has 2 good fukin pitchers and hoskins more like the player last year than he did the rookie version. kingery gets signed because of a good spring training and looks to be a fukin bust as well.

team sucked monster dick since 2013 or something and has nothing to show for it in the farm system or any notable good players that made it the big leagues other than aaron nola....fukin joke
