but the manager was a HUGE issue, from day one. I defended him early on, but that shit was CHip Kelly 2.0. Guy couldn't manage to save his life and didn't make good judgement calls instead he tried to be an analytics guy and go by the numbers and it was just awful.

Agreed. BUT Kapler was really shitty with lineups and making terrible in-game decisions for 2 years.

We should have known early on when he pulled Nola who was dominating the season opener last season (2018) after just 68 fucking pitches. The Phillies ended up losing too.
