Haven't seen the Phillies on the front cover of SI in eight years, the last time was of course when we had R2C2 with four aces.

Before the internet SI was pretty cool. Swimsuit issue was one of my first fap magazines.

Now it's irrelevant though. Who honestly buys magazines these days. Doctor's offices, that's about it.

idk what this is supposed to mean? Trout would have been under contract in LA for another couple of years anyway lol...

Trout wouldn't have been a legit FA until like 29.


Also, Harper was offered $45M a year ($20M more per year than the Phillies are paying him) for 4 years by the Dodgers, which would have allowed him to become a FA again still in his prime at 30 years old. He turned that down though.
