I do have 1 question for you experts

The Benintendi play -- he was ruled out for going outside the baseline
So basically the rule is saying he should simply full speed run through the pitcher if he's going to be in the way?
Not sure why the hitter should avoid contact if the pitcher is in his legal pathway. That's only a + for the pitcher

I'm sure next time we will see an injury

radio announcers (Tim Neverett and Castiglione) said Umps got the call wrong and they cited a specific rule (forgot which one) for proof.

Not mad about it, just need some clarification

If player safety is the goal, I don't like the call
Because why wouldn't players just run through if it's legal? Probably not worth injury though

idk I was wasn't watching, had in on the radio in the car driving and I heard them talking about it for like 3 minutes+, they said the umps fucked up (paraphrasing)
