Royals eliminated from the playoffs mathematically, not like stats and math has ever stopped these Royals. But I know it means that the core of the two pennants and the series will be gone after this year, dispersing across the league, and the farm system will come back and we will be irrelevant for quite a long time until we come back to surprise the country again, and take all of your hearts with our small market attitude and the chip on our shoulder. Gotta love baseball though because of it. Maybe we'll win another one in 28 years. Love these guys and don't blame them when they inevitably leave for greener (pun intended) bank accounts, I mean pastures.

Just joking (kinda). But really, well said and being a true fan to a team like that just means that when they are successful you'll enjoy it that much more. I wish more fans were like this. Although voting in all those royals to the all star game that one year was a bit much for my tastes lol

It was hilarious I will say. The entire city was in on it and the rest of the nation definitely helped out bc it was just a group of guys that you just loved. Such a good group. I'll miss em.
