whatup baseball forum

im treating my gf to a baseball game for her birthday at fenway
looking to spend no more than $150/ticket since we will be staying in boston for the weekend as well
i have never been, but she has, but more importantly I don't even know what seats are desirable for a baseball game...
like in football, you want to be close to the 50 yard line... whats good for baseball?

thats what ace tickets has available for <$150
any pointers will be greatly appreciated
thanks!

Shit seats

Honestly go for 3rd baseline loge boxes, great seats that aren't even that expensive. Or go for first baseline but they cost a lot more and its not a better seat.

best time i ever had was the the 1st 2 seats front row in section 40. I got these for a Sox yankees sellout way back in the day. They kept 1 or 2k seats for day of game back then. You can't see part of right field but i got D Lowe to sign a ball for me (it was a bp ball i grabbed on landsdown street getting high before the game) and i said hi to JV (before the game starts they are friendly) who was bp catcher atm. That was fun, but now that i have a real job i would go for monster seats.

e/ have fun!

Aren't the best seats always right behind home plate, regardless of stadium?

not really a baseball guy, that's why i have the football example. seems like 1st or 3rd baseline is best for my price range. 200s level if that makes sense (2nd tier)
