So a group of my friends that have been doing a baseball league for a while decided they wanted to change a few rules up, and in doing so, we decided to do an entire redraft.
Its now a league where you can indefinitely keep 3 players regardless of where they were drafted and you can keep players forever basically. I drew the 2nd pick (which i wasnt huge about), and the league has 6 categories; the standard R'HR/RBI/SB/AVG/wins/strikeouts/era/whip/saves, and we added OPS for hitters and losses for pitchers, and heres the team i came up with.
C: russell martin
1B: hanley ramirez
2b: devon travis
3b: alex bregman
ss: troy tulowitzki
MI: eduardo nunez
CI: jose ramirez
OF: mookie betts
OF: george springer
OF: AJ pollock
OF: jose bautista
UT: matt holliday
P: Corey Kluber
P: carlos Martinez
P: Ken giles
P: lance mccullers
P: james paxton
P: michael pineda
P: jharel Cotton
P: Cam Bedrosian
P: hector neris
P: ryan madson
P: joe musgrove
then i have an empty spot im going to use to pick someone up when waivers clear, hopefully Ryu.
I like my OF, but nothing else really. My draft spots were always brutal, because everyone available around my ADP was either someone i thought would regress or i would be overpaying based on career years, or id have to reach and pick guys i mightve been able to get a round later but probably not. pitchers went off the board so fast.
overall, i feel like my team is average, maybe a 4/10. what you guys think? best way to fix this?
