Love it!! Terrible idea to have the ASG determine home field advantage. Shouldn't rely on 1 meaningless game to determine who gets the extra game @ home.

as cool as the idea was, it was flawed by allowing players to be voted in by fans.

if they want to continue fan voting, they need to drop the game back to being meaningless.

Ironically I think it helped the Cubs win the WS with Cleveland having home field advantage

ASG isn't played like a real game. Managers play all these different guys to get them in the game, etc. If it was REALLY all that important they'd stick with a couple of their best and not take them out unless they were struggling.

This is the right move.
