Guys, im looking into buying a new bat for my USSSA softball league but need your opinion on this...

Which technology do you think will generate more power? A single or a two-piece bat?

Ive read online that a one-piece will generate more power because the bat speed is sustained after contact, while others argued the bend after contact on a two-piece will create a trampoline effect.

What are your experiences?

Learn how to hit properly and you won't need the bat to generate power for you. You'll generate the power yourself.

E: and bats don't generate power anyways lol, it's just a piece of metal.

No difference in the 2 bats at all.. a two piece does not bend or give when hitting the ball.. if it does then it becomes a piece of bent metal is all n is junk.. just look for the heavest bat you can swing with ease n control.. ive always looked at those 2 piece things as over priced.. I know a guy who uses one but he can't hit worth a shit so I can't really compare

Ball travel distance is largely based on bat speed, not weight..
So getting the heaviest bat not always better.

I'm pretty sure I use a 26oz 32" bat, and I hit a few home runs a year and I'm not a big power hitter.

E: Might be 34", can't remember.
