4:57pm: Story says that he will have surgery and expects to miss the rest of the season, as MLB.com’s Thomas Harding tweets.

4:06pm: The Rockies have placed shortstop Trevor Story on the 15-day DL with a torn UCL in his left thumb, the club announced. It’s a major blow to the outside chances the team had of making a run to the postseason in 2016.

Nah. Seager is on pace to finish like .310/.370/.500 with 30 homers and a WAR near 6

Story's numbers are so Coors inflated..

.313/.393/.693 at Coors
.235/.292/.454 on the road

Seager is by far and away superior even with the Coors inflation.

You both are not getting what I am saying.
I'm not talking about who is better, I'm talking bout who would win roy.
If Story hadn't got injured he would have won.

Yes, Story has inflated Coors numbers and Seager is better all the way around.
But Story would have still won.

Y? Cause voters love offense.

.300+ BA with 25-30 Hrs is good offense. I'd take that over .265 with 35 HR

Plus lolcoors

2016 end of season projections:

Story- .272/42/111
Seager- .309/28/76

runs are a wash and Story gets 12 sb vs. Seagers 2
