The negative/positive sign means what YOUR bet is, so if it's a negative sign that means your team is favored.. if it's a positive sign that means your team is the underdog.
Using your example:
Cardinals -175 would mean for every 175 fg you bet, you would win 100 fg (Or 1.75 your bet per 1 to win).
Reds +155 would mean for every 100 fg you bet, you would win 155 fg (Or 1 your bet per 1.55 to win).

If you need to know more, lmk either here or pm me.

There's a few other things like ML = moneyline (straight up) and RL = run line (generally +/- 1.5 runs for the team (+1.5 for underdog, -1.5 for favored [only 1.5 total, NOT + for one team AND - for the other])

If you dont mind could you explain Run Line Total and Money Line
Everything I need to know on one of Tx6's thread bets for example?
Maybe using one of the games as an example?

Appreciate it ^^

Ok, we'll use the first game for example.
(I'm using the . and '' to line things up)

Cubs.......| RL'' -1.5 -150|.....| o 8.0'' -130 .| ML -260
Phillies....| RL +1.5 +130|.....| u 8.0 +110 | ML+215

Let's say you wanted to bet on Cubs.
Cubs are favorites so their ML (moneyline) is -260. It would cost 260 fg to win 100. So if you sent tx6 260 fg on that bet and won, you would receive 360 fg back.
If you thought the Cubs were going to win by ≥ (greater than or equal to) 2, then you would want to bet the RL (run line) of -1.5 (meaning take away 1.5 runs from their total score) because the odds are better.

Let's say you bet on the Cubs ML and RL and the final score was 5-4 Cubs.
We'll make it easy and do 100 fg for the underdog.
You would win the ML bet of 260 vs 100, but since the Cubs only won by 1.. and you had a run line of -1.5, technically the final RL "betting" score was 3.5-4 in favor of the Phillies.. so you would lose the 150 vs 100 bet.
If you bet both, your end results would be +100 from ML and -150 from RL, so you would net -50 for the bet.
If you bet on the Phillies ML of 100 vs 215 (underdogs, more to win), you would have lost using this example.
If you bet on the Phillies RL of 100 vs 130 (underdogs), you would have won using this example.

the o 8.0 and u 8.0 means over/under.
It has nothing to do with who wins, but if they score the amount you bet.
Let's say for example you bet the o 8.0 (-150 because the betting line assumes the score will be ≥8, so it's favored) and the end score was the same as above as 5-4 Cubs.
You would win the bet of your 150 vs 100. Even if the Phillies won 11-0 you would still cover the over bet.
Now if you bet u 8.0 (+110, underdogs so only 100 of yours vs 110 to win) and the final was 5-4 Cubs, you would lose considering there was 9 runs total and you said under 8.
If the final score is exactly the number you bet (example: 5-3 Cubs) the bet is null (or push) meaning you receive back whatever you bet.. so if you bet o 8.0 your 150 vs 100, and the final was 5-3, you would receive 150 back.

I'm going to post this in the thread also so that other new bettors can see and example.
