Down 7-1 in bottom of the 9th.... score 7 runs in the bottom of the 9th to win! What a great game.

I don't recall ever seeing a team have as many "miracle" wins from down 5+ in the 8th/9th (especially in the playoffs). Can anyone think of others that have had comeback success like this?

Whitesox gave up 7 runs in last inning with 2 fuking outs. ridiculous.

Why hate my team? I love yours! At least Matt Harvey and Jeurys Familia....

eh, only 3-4 runs were with two outs. First few were with one out.

This tricked me originally. Knew White Sox had division lead and Royals were 1 game back of them with a tie breaker over them, which meant we would have the division lead if we won. Check on the standings after the game and see fucking Cleveland up there..... Didn't even look twice at them.

Royals about to take the lead and never look back though (unless Salvy's injury is serious..... knock on wood).

I'm talking about single-game comebacks though. Could give you game 6, but game 7, cards had the lead from the 3rd and never lost it

I'd say the 2014 ALWCG >>> that though

being down by 2 runs two different times with 2 outs and 2 strikes, essentially one pitch from it all being over, and coming back both times.


thats for the world series. it wouldnt mean as much if the cardinals didnt win game 7, but they did.



that home run pujols hit off brad lidge in the playoffs was outstanding, when the cardinals were down 2 with 2 outs and no one on in an elimination game. at the time, lidge was one of the best closers in the game, and pujols put on over the tracks off him.


no one remembers though because the cardinals lost the next game.
