i will be dropping Frazier, Sano, J Zimmerman.

I would prefer to do a 2 for 1 but those are difficult. No penalty, draft pick loss, years limits on keepers etc.

I am obviously weak on pitching and was offered Jose Fernandez for McCutch. Do i do it because i am weak in pitching or do it no matter what? Pass and stream all year? Also, i am missing my 3rd round pick this year due a trade last year so i have to go SP SP in 1 and 2. All rounds are after top 72 have been kept...

I'd definitely do the Cutch for Jose Fernandez trade

id only do it if struggling with pitching

Remember Jose will be on a innings cap, so come playoff time you won't have that ace.

edit, he has Sonny Gray. thoughts on a Cutch Gray trade?

He would have to add - Cutch is a top 5-8 pick in redrafts.

Sonny Gray is going like 5th/6th round in redrafts.

the fact you can keep jose fernandez forever, id make that trade.

hes one of the few who have the talent and potential to dethrone kershaw as best pitcher in the game.

I forgot this is a keeper league, Yeah I would def do this trade now.

Even if you only get 180 innings this year you will be set for the future.

I know long term Jose is worth it but i really try hard to compete for the loot until i know i'm out of it, then i trade for future.

Another guy just offered Hamels for Cutch but he also has Sherzer and King Felix.

I traded Adam Jones and Familia for Cutch last year during AJs ridiculous hot streak to start the year

fantasy is all about winning now; who cares about next year+.. most leagues including keeper are done even before the 1st year is even over
