Despite a terrrrrible start to the season, Jay Bruce is having a career year. Getting on base at his best clip since 2011, smacking doubles to all fields, and posting his highest OPS+ to date.

Knee is finally healed and he's back. It's been a dramatic increase in performance for 3 straight months.

Dude is just 28, in the early midst of his prime.

I really hope the Reds extend him instead of Frazier.

You want Burce instead of Frazier? That seems weird to me.
I personally don't think Burce is entering his prime.

Frazier has been hitting like .200 since even before the ASG/HRD. His swing is goofy and susceptible and random at times. He's older than Bruce.

I don't truthfully believe Frazier has the skill set to be an all-star caliber player with any frequency.

Bruce isn't necessarily an Allstar caliber player with frequency either.. But he'd look damn good in Blue
