I've never had to deal with one of these injuries, but I was under the assumption (considering he was carted off the field last year), that if it was serious he wouldn't have been carried off the field and been walking around afterwards.

I sprained my mcl many years ago playing soccer in bmore, and my experience along with a few others is that the injury happens, it hurts, you ice it but I was able to walk on it that night (before knowing it was a sprain versus tear)

it affects your ability to push off to the side, but you can still walk straight up forward and back carefully

Some people go down screaming like Nerlens Noel, others don't feel much pain like the jsp user named Nerlens.

Glad to hear there is no torn ligament. Being on the 15 day DL is actually good news compared to what I was expecting
