Astros win 5-4 in the bottom of the ninth. On a throwing error! LOL

Jonathan Villar hustled home to score from second on a wild throw past first base, after they had Jose Altuve hung up.

I can't believe it. Astros were down 4-2. Oakland rarely blows a save. They hadn't lost to the Astros all year.

The Astros lost two of the games to Oakland 4-3 and won 5-4 last night. They were able to compete at least.

1. Astros 34-66
2. Marlins 37-61
3. White Sox 39-58
4. Brewers 41-58

We're far ahead of everybody else when it comes to the first overall pick in the 2014 draft next June.
The Marlins will try to sweep the Rockies later tonight but I'm not too concerned even if they lose.

We start a four-game series at Toronto tomorrow night. We'll probably lose three out of four, winning the last game with Cosart pitching.

I forgot it was a four-game series between the Marlins and Rockies. Marlins lost 2-1 last night but won 5-3 earlier today.
The Marlins won three out of four in that series so their record is now 38-62. The Astros have a chance to reach 67 losses tonight.

We're about to run away with the top pick in next June's draft. We should be able to call up Mark Appel on September 1
We can have a good finish to the season in September, with Cosart and Appel dominating, and no more talk about tanking.

But anyways, Blue Jays batting in the bottom of the 2nd. Still a scoreless game. I'm trying my best to enjoy this game.

The race for the 1st overall pick in 2014

1. Astros 34-67
2. Marlins 38-62
3. White Sox 40-59
4. Brewers 42-59

Only 61 games left for the Astros. We're in pretty good position to clinch the top pick for a third straight year.
We can afford to win a couple games here and there. When push comes to shove we'll just tank our way back to the bottom.
I'm really excited about Carlos Rodon. He's a no-brainer pick. He'll command big money just like Mark Appel.
Signability isn't an issue for the team with the lowest payroll in baseball though. They have tons to spend.

We just need our bullpen to blow a one run, late-inning lead at Toronto tonight (easy as pie). And the Marlins lead 2-0 over the Pirates in the top of the 8th. Let's get that six-game lead in the loss column for the first pick. I doubt we'll have a chance to run away with it so easily but you never know.

Toronto's bullpen is trash just like R.A. Dickey's home splits this year. We need the Marlins to win just to keep that 4.5-game lead (5 in loss column).

LMAO. All tied up. Encarnacion and Lind back-to-back home runs. 6-6 game in the bottom of the 7th.

Why do these guys go ice-cold when I bet on Toronto? But when I don't, they hit like beasts.
