Turns out Arencibia is one of the best pitch framers in the league. He turns more balls into strikes than any other catcher, turns more strikes into balls than other top pitch framers but he has a fourth best differential. He also is praised by nearly every pitcher on this team for how well he handles the staff and for his game calling. So who cares that he doesn't throw out many runners or occasional gives up the passed ball, he's actually turning into a solid defensive catcher.
