Machado expected to see Dr. Neal ElAttrache on March 18th to get clearance to return to full competition. In an article in The Sun, it has Manny saying "he feels 100%, but isn't going 100% just yet", and that he is running at about 80% effort right now to get a feel for things.

The leaps the medical field has taken in te last decade is out of this world, injuries aren't even handled the same way anymore, with microscopic surgery and such.

griffey had the homerun title if he continued... easy HOFer,,,, still, but he had a tough end to his career...
