D'Arnaud is a catcher who will almost guaranteed have to be moved to first base because he has massive injury concerns and cannot stay healthy. Syndergaard is the only player from that trade that I wish we didn't lose.

Fuck Blanco too. Though I don't think I'd call him worse. He's been catching Dickey who's been off this season. I don't pay too much attention to rbi and runs scored unless I'm looking at the order of the lineup. I most definitely would not call JP our 3rd most productive hitter. Are you completely disregarding Adam Lind this season? Anyway, I'm not arguing that JP sucks at batting. I'm arguing that defence is much more important than offence as a catcher, and JP is awful defencively.

I'd like to see them give Thole a try. At the very least it would show me that they are willing to address the problem instead of pretending Arencibia will get better.

ive been praising lind all season, everyone else says he sucks etc. for production im looking at runs and rbi of which jpa has the third most of behind ee and jb

where is thole? ive been wanting him to called up, was he coming back from injury? id be fine with jp as dh, but then what happens when lawrie comes back? take linds bat out of the lineup? they wont take lawrie out. also want derosa getting more playing time, his production has been very impressive

There not much good catcher out there jp is ok he play for usa in world baseball classic soo he got to be good Blanco is the worst he is too old.

I really believe for umpires to change someone needs to do something drastic. Like take the team off the field after a really horrible, game changing missed call.
