I'm jumping on the Indians bandwagon when we miss the playoffs. 5 games out of first place now!
We've got the toughest schedule left in baseball.
And let me guess: Nothing is done before tomorrow's deadline.
No future investment in Chris Archer, etc... etc...
I know Archer has sucked this year but he'll probably become an Ace caliber pitcher again in 2017 and beyond.
EDIT: I didn't realize the awesome Archer was already back. He's been great his last two starts with 3 earned runs given up in 13 innings and 19 strikeouts with only 2 walks (ERA down to 4.42 on the year). It was up over 5 not that long ago.
I would love to see the Astros give up whatever it takes to land Archer.
If it takes four of our best prospects then that's fine to me. I'm down!
A Keuchel, Archer and McCullers trio would be a superb starting rotation. Best in AL maybe.
Screw this season. We're too far back and too many tough games left in the final 55 or so. We play the Rangers 9 times, Blue Jays 7 times, Orioles 4 times, Indians 4 times, Cubs 3 times, Pirates 3 times, etc... etc...
Looking at our remaining schedule I know this 2016 season is over.
It was fun to creep within 2 games back of the Rangers while it lasted.
We can't even beat the damn Yankees or Tigers. No way we'll beat those real elite teams.
LOL, three best prospects. Say goodbye to AJ Reed, bregman and Kyle Tucker.
Cause that's worth Archer.
