Hopefully Baez hits these next couple while Bryant gets healed and they start Baez more at 3rd and Bryant in LF.. Soler is still have decent at bats when I've been watching and taking a fair amount of walks.

Regardless, everyone will play and often as that's what Maddon does.

yea all understandable

im surprised theyre batting soler 5th though. i guess maddon is trying to protect him to where he gets more pitchers to hit, but better hitters are coming up behind him and off the bench for him.



as long as you guys win, it wont matter. if you hit a losing streak though, im sure soler will find himself on the bench more often.

The majority of the lineup isn't hitting yet; it's not just Soler.. Zobrist, Rizzo(apart from the power), Russell, Heyward all aren't really doing much yet. The only good thing the entire lineup is doing is taking a shit load of pitches and walks.

The scary part is they're 17-5 and it's only been a Fowler show on offense.
