Gose deserves to be called up.

I agree with Hayhurst that as long as Hamilton doesn't make it, there's no reason that Gose should

neither can hit

Except that Gose did hit, and he did it pretty well in his second call up last year, in spring training and in Buffalo.

Thanks for posting his entire slash line from last season. That, however, is not the slash line from his second call up.

Fact, Gose isn't good enough to replace anybody on the team right now.

That's not a fact. Rasmus has a good last few games but Gose likely would have been better. Doesn't even matter if he had the same average, Gose has a high OBP, would have stole bases, would have provided even better fielding than the already great fielding Rasmus provides, and he's got some pop as well in the form of doubles, triples and the occasional home run (He's likely a 15-20 homerun guy in his prime).

If Lind continues to be crap, I'd have Gose in LF/RF and rotate Melky and Joey Bats in the DH role.

I can agree with cutting Lind for Gose, but Rasmus? You crazy.

why are people saying lind is crap? he started like 0 for his first 20 at bats and has been rolling along ever since, you dont take someone with an obp of .400 out of the lineup, and over his last 19 games hes hitting .311 with an obp of .467. his RBI will start going up when hes hitting with risp or even runners on, he only has 21 (11 with risp) AB with runners on base this year lol. (.286 with runners on base, leads the team next to reyes, also leads in obp next to reyes)

i wouldnt take anyone out of this lineup for gose
